Lat-Lon Continues On Its Winning Ways |
| Lat-Lon closed out 2007 with more than 130 customers and revenues up 41% over 2006. This is on top of Lat-Lon's previous year's growth of 46%. Unlike most of its competitors, Lat-Lon has been and continues to be a profitable company. This means our ability to serve you in the future is not subject to the whims of investors. Lat-Lon is predicting that revenue growth will continue in the years to come as more companies adopt wireless GPS technology to save costs and improve operations. |
"Our steady growth is due to a focus on quality, innovation, and customer support" says President David Baker. Lat-Lon continues to add additional servers and software to its systems to stay ahead of the demand for data. Lat-Lon is now processing about 50,000 messages per day or one message every 1.75 seconds on average. The number of messages continues to grow exponentially. |
Growth can also be seen in the size of the database that Lat-Lon manages. Customers use the Custom Report Builder to access over 55 Gigabytes of data in over 7,000,000 messages. In 2007 Lat-Lon developed many new features including a dispatch screen and an alert system. |
In 2008, Lat-Lon will deliver more intelligent products that use less power and can report over 10 times more often than its battery powered counterparts. |
