ATK Thiokol is using the system to track its spotter vans. Position reports can be set up based on time or distance. These messages appear on Lat-Lon's dispatch page for up-to-the-minute visual display of the fleet's location. |
The VTU reports when the engine is started, when the vehicle starts moving and when it stops. Reports can be generated to determine how long the vehicle is in route, idling, at customer facilities, etc. |
