The STU is the most cost effective unit to deploy with its wireless sensors making it the easiest to install. The STU provides the most flexibility with its many configurations available. Options include a 3 axis impact sensor and up to 10 wireless sensors for temperature, tilt, and proximity switch for doors, hatches or valves, and hand brake. Wired sensors can also be deployed depending on your needs for pressure, temperature, and proximity.
The greatest advantage of the STU is amount of location and logistics data transmitted to the backend system. It out paces all specifications recommended by the Department of Homeland Security. You know when the car was loaded, when it left your plant, where the car is in route, when it got to the distribution center, when it got to the customer, when the customer unloaded the car, and when the car was returned.
