GeoItems consists of geofences, geopoints, and tripwires.
Geofences allow customers to further narrow down important location information to track assets at key locations such as customer sites. Geofences create the capability to run a report that shows all units inside or outside the geofence.
A geopoint is a user definable point that is input by the user. A report can be run for a unit that shows the location as direction and mileage from that point.
A tripwire is a line that causes a message to be sent much like an AEI tag reader. The tripwire is an “active” geoitem” that is a feature of the LMU2, EMU2, and VTU2 products.
