Customers can receive alerts based on one or multiple criteria programmed into the unit. This allows customers to get a real-time notification when important events happen. These alerts can be setup based on any parameter sent from the unit such as speed, temperature, or a door opening.
Lat-Lon also has an alerter page that displays all messages that come in for a fleet. All alarms must be acknowledged by turning off an audible alarm. This feature is mainly used by dispatch or operations departments. A sample screen shot is shown below:
